Office Update Regarding COVID-19

Effective Monday May 3, 2020:

Luhn Hearing Care has remained open helping individuals with hearing aid service needs via curbside, in compliance with state mandates since the middle of March. Beginning May 4th we will begin seeing patients that need in-person service. Procedures to keep our patients safe are outlined below. We will continue to provide curbside service for patients that can be accommodated without entering the building. We are committed to providing the same personalized care that you have come to expect from Luhn Hearing Care. Call us and we will discuss the option that is best for you. Physical distancing makes hearing all the more important, to stay connected to those who are significant in our lives.

  • Patients will be screened a maximum of 24 hours before their appointment time to ensure that they are not high risk for the COVID-19 (coronavirus).

  • Only one patient will be in the building at any time.

  • Visitors will be asked to call us when they have arrived so that we can instruct them if we are ready to have them enter the building.

  • The building will be locked in order to control the flow of patients. Please call for an appointment.

  • All touched surfaces (door knobs, chairs, desks, headphones, etc.) will be disinfected before patients are seen and between each patient.

  • All persons will wear a mask while in the building.

  • A minimum of 6 ft. distance will be maintained whenever possible.

  • Hand sanitizer will be used by visitors upon entering and before leaving the office. It will be used by staff a minimum of before and after each physical contact with another person.

  • If any patient gets sick within 14 days of visiting our office, they are asked to notify us immediately.
